Deaf students: 15 minute sessions for English learning using written English to teach grammar and vocabulary.  ASL support, but focussed on really learning English in the most accessible and comprehensive way.

Leslie K. Gray has a Masters in Deaf Education as well as California State teaching credentials in Special Education and K-12 Multiple Subjects.  She has specialized in English Literacy for over a decade, working specifically to tailor curriculum to diverse learning skills.  She is a native English speaker and has taught English and ESL to the Deaf and is fluent in American Sign Language.  She has also tutored international hearing students in conversational English and accent reduction. Leslie has much experience in Language Acquisition and English Language learning having taught multiple levels from pre-school all the way to adults.

We will be working in Standard American English.
